The Night of the Thin Veil

Stroud Sacred Music Festival, St Laurence Church, Friday 30th June 2017 9pm

Join us for this year’s Sacred Music Festival, now in its third year, our festival is primarily an act of peace.

From June 30th to July 1st, there will be activities and events all the family can enjoy, including daytime workshops and two evening concerts at St. Laurence Parish Church.

With performances inspired and fuelled by an array of musical influences from around the world, the festival has at its heart the belief that music can succeed in bringing unity and peace where dialogue often fails.

This year we will also be offering locally sourced food, from cakes to falafel, because we know how hungry everyone gets during a day of dancing, singing and laughing.

The full programme and information on where to buy tickets can be found our website:

St Laurence’s Church in The Shambles to raise money for the Stroud District Foodbank 6-9.30pm on Saturday March 25.

Open Heart event is a community celebration of three religions, and finding the still point in an unstable world. Celebrate the balance of light and dark of the Spring Equinox, the balance of peace and war of the Ramayana, and the balance of divinity and humanity of the Annunciation on 25th March.

Open Heart starts at 4pm with refreshments, family workshops from 4.30pm, guided meditation at 5.30pm, Refreshments from 6pm, and then an evening of dance with the Raga Babas .
